The most important thing about FoodQ is that it is an organisation for food producers and manufacturers run by food producers and manufacturers so we understand some of the challenges you may face. There’s no pressure to attend every meeting as you can keep up to date with opportunities and what’s going on through the web site and our detailed meeting minutes/monthly newsletters that also include transcripts of guest speaker presentations. We give you every opportunity to talk in a relaxed atmosphere about your business, focus on it and to receive ongoing advice and education about matters that may affect your business such as working with distributors, pitfalls of contracts, easy tips for gaining publicity locally, opportunities to work with other organisations to promote your products and brand, how to make the most of networking and many other topics. Our members include household names, exporters, people moving into or out of farmers markets and distributors, baked goods and dry goods producers as well as those whose products require refrigeration.
